#TeamTranslator wins Woman-Led Community of the Year at the Digital Women Awards 2023

7 November 2023 – #TeamTranslator has been announced as the winner of Woman-Led Community of the Year at the Digital Women Awards. We (co-founders Anikó Pető-Mordovski and Kelsey Frick) both travelled down to London to attend the event.

The Digital Women Awards celebrates women from their community and beyond who are doing incredible work in digital and business. The Digital Women Awards are open to any and all women working in digital industries and entrepreneurship, and entrants go through a rigorous judging process by their esteemed panel.

The event, held at Salsa! Temple, welcomed finalists and supporters from numerous “of the Year” categories, including Innovator, Women-Led Podcast, Digital Creator, and Virtual Assistant, to name a few.

We are really excited to celebrate once again all of the incredible women going over and above and doing truly amazing things in the digital space. This is a significant time to celebrate businesswomen, entrepreneurs and all people in digital industries, I’m so glad we get to recognise all of these fantastic achievements from our community and beyond at the Digital Women Awards 2023.
— Lucy Hall, Community Lead and Founder of Digital Women

Reacting to the news, Anikó and Kelsey took to LinkedIn to express their gratitude:

It is really just sinking in this morning that #TeamTranslator and us are award-winners. That #TeamTranslator is an award-winning community. We are so incredibly proud of our community, all the support and advice that is shared there on a daily basis. Thank you all!

We are absolutely beaming with pride (and a healthy amount of shock!). Thank you to Digital Women, thank you to our moderators, and most importantly thank you to every single person who has joined #TeamTranslator to make it what it is.
